Our team

Carlos García Romeral

(Head of Logistics and Supplies)

With more than 20 years of experience at Biopastis, Carlos is currently a fundamental pillar for the company. Since his beginning, Carlos has worked hard to achieve the current position he holds. All the control of the warehouses that Biopastis has in its plant passes through him. He is also responsible for the perfect functioning of the production chains and together with Sergio they make it possible for Biopastis to produce more than 4,000 product units on a daily basis.

Managing all of this is nothing if not based on effort and dedication. A true professional, both inside and outside the company. For us, another member of the Biopastis family.

José Sierra Pantoja

(Executive Director – CEO)

Aragonese by birth and Manchego by adoption, in 2002 José Sierra became part of our Biopastis family.

A graduate in Industrial Electronics and PLC programming, Pepe, as he likes to be called, has revolutionized the way we make our cakes over the past 22 years.

Lorena García’s husband, the two of them together, have been innovating and improving year after year our entire production chain and concepts regarding pastry that are in trend.

Pepe, in addition to leading all the technological development of the company, is the person who controls the Purchasing Department and the Sales Department of Biopastis.

He is currently the CEO of the company, to which he brings youth, determination and know-how, so that all the products that leave our company are 100% to the liking of our customers.

“Our maxim is to ensure that everything that comes out of our company maintains the quality levels that our clients demand from us. Development is what makes us stand out from the rest of our competitors, this is our spearhead!! So we do our thing!!”

Lorena García Márquez

(Director of the R&D and Quality Department)

Without a doubt, the most important pillar of our company. Lorena learned over the years from Nacho and Paqui how to work in order to build a large company. Nacho introduced her to the world of pastry making and Mr. Luis Irizar (Master of Masters) was the one who taught her to be on par with any chef worldwide.

Lorena is a hard worker, constant, a fighter and a sufferer, she is able to make more than 80 cake developments in one day. Luis Irizar defined her as: “She is a Japanese born in Spain, organized, constant and at the same time innovative and imaginative.”

For years she has been learning the techniques and trends of all the countries she travels to, always accompanied by Pepe. Together they have developed the concept “Dessert For One” which they apply as their daily ABC.

Lorena currently manages the entire R&D department at Biopastis, as well as collaborating very closely, as could not be otherwise, in the production chains of our cakes.

Lorena García “A good dessert is like a symphony, I always like to say. The right instruments, the right notes… If you have known how to compose your work, the public will enjoy it with intensity and emotion. But without anyone noticing, like music, a good dessert feeds you while you enjoy it”
